THE NUTRIA
Nutria has brown fur and a long tail. They are rodents. Nutrias are huge pests though. They make leaks in dams by making holes. They destroy water plants. They also destroy plants such as rice and sugar cane. Nutrias can be cute but they're big pests. See them for what they really are.

THE JAGUAR
Where is most of our water? The answer is the rainforest. It stores about 75% of our water! Amazing right. Its sooo cool. Anyway, my favorite animal is the jaguar. Most cats hate water but, jaguars don't! They can even fight under water!I know right! It's the coolest thing ever. More some are black! This helps them blend in with the shadows. They live in caves. They are very shy.

Endangered blue whale
Blue whales can weigh up to 200 tons. They can eat four tons of krill a day. They can hold one ton in their stomach. They are endangered by people. They are also endangered by toxins and by climate change, kind of like the polar bear. World Wildlife Fund is trying to protect them and you can do it too by giving money to them. (We learned this from the WWF webpage.)
Photosynthesis
Photosynthesis is the way we create oxygen (O2). Plants take in carbon dioxide (CO2). The plant uses the carbon dioxide to make sugar and lets off oxygen. It also uses sun and water (H2O). They go into cells in the leaves. The sun goes on to it and it creates sugar and it lets off oxygen. Chlorophyll makes leaves green. It helps with photosynthesis.

Our oceans and water animals
One of our worst waste places is our oceans. Over half of our oceans are filled with trash. We need to save these animals. One of the animals that is most in danger of becoming extinct because of this is the sea turtle. Their favorite prey is jellyfish. When they see bags, they think they are jellyfish and eat them. If they eat too many, they die. And that is why this animal is endangered. We need to clean up our oceans.

Recycling
We all know what recycling is. Overall, we do a pretty good job of it. But we can really do better. Maybe even make a contest of who recycles the most. Help Mother Nature.
